As an Elastic Engineer at Blis Digital...

Are you a technically strong engineer who gets energy from data, observability, search, cloud and AI? Do you enjoy solving complex technical problems and advising clients on smart solutions? Then we would like to meet you.

As an Elastic Engineer you work on a wide range of projects for enterprise clients. You design, build and optimise Elastic platforms and turn technical data into valuable insight. You think about the technology, but above all about the question behind it: what does the client want to understand, improve or predict?

Depending on the project you work on observability, security, cloud costs, performance, search solutions or AI applications. You use Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Agent, Fleet and Elastic Cloud, among others. You also regularly work with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and CI/CD.

You work within our Enterprise IT Business Unit, where we help organisations with innovative solutions in data, observability, cloud, search and AI.

What will you be doing?

• You design, implement and optimise Elastic platforms in cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments.
• You develop ingest pipelines and make sure data is processed and structured efficiently.
• You build dashboards, visualisations and alerts that give clients immediate insight into their IT landscape.
• You advise clients on observability, search, monitoring and Elastic architectures.
• You run performance analyses and health checks and propose improvements.
• You automate processes using Python, PowerShell, Bash or SQL.
• You work with Git, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• You help shape technical architecture, scalability and future expansion.
• You coach less experienced colleagues and actively share knowledge within the team.
• You use AI tools to work smarter and more efficiently, with quality always coming first.

This is you

• You have a bachelor's level of working and thinking.
• You have at least 3 years of experience as an Elastic Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer or in a comparable technical role.
• You have experience with (a large part of) the Elastic Stack, such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Agent, Fleet or Elastic Cloud.
• You have experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• You know your way around Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD processes.
• You have experience with Python, SQL, PowerShell or Bash.
• You can translate technical questions into practical solutions for clients.
• You communicate easily with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You have a good command of Dutch and English.
• You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping colleagues move forward.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability platforms.
• Experience with security monitoring or SIEM.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus or similar tooling.
• An interest in AI, vector search, semantic search or RAG solutions.

• A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €6,000 based on a 40-hour week, depending on your knowledge and experience.
